Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug in Meteor objects which caused them to start processing before becoming visible after respawn.
    I'm actually unsure on why this kept happening in the first place. If you take a look at the source code you will have an idea of the workaround I used to fix the bug. The problem is: it's just doesn't make sense!
    What happened was that apparently the engine made the Meteor objects start processing and checking for collisions before making them visible in the first place, despite the fact that the code literally told it to do the opposite. I think it has something to do with how fast the engine process the "visible = true" command or something like that, so maybe it was more of a problem for low-specs PC and the HTML5 version (due to how fast the browser is able to process everything).

Minor optimizations

  • I changed some setting in the Godot Project Settings. I don't know if it did anything, but technically it should have made the game run a little bit better.
